Starting WordPad

• The WordPad program is a very limited word processor program that is supplied free within Windows Vista.  To open the WordPad program, click on the Start button and then click on the All Programs button.
  
  
  

• Click on the Accessories group.
  
  
  

• You should see the WordPad program icon listed under the Accessories group
  
  
  

• Click on the WordPad command to run the WordPad program.  The program will open within a window, as illustrated.
  
  
  

• You can type in a line of text and then press the Enter key a few times.
